LIBERATION & INSPIRATION: A CELEBRATORY JUNETEENTH CONCERT

Commemorating Juneteenth, Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture proudly presents A Celebratory Juneteenth Concert at Knight Theater.

Hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist and songwriter Kirk Franklin, LIBERATION & INSPIRATION features myriad performances by Charlotte artists. The concert offers a musical journey from a historic tragedy to triumphant eras of freedom, excellence, and joy.

Breakout stars of America’s Got Talent, Sainted Trap Choir will perform with Gantt Golden Year Musical Artist-in-Residence Dennis Reed. Local musicians and performing artists will join for a powerful celebration. Award-winning recording artist and actress Fantasia will make a special guest appearance.
