Overview

Canadian guitarist, composer and producer Jesse Cook has traveled the world exploring musical traditions that he has blended into his style of playing. He was a classical guitarist as a child, then studied flamenco, then jazz, and has developed a unique style based around the three musical and guitar traditions in his background. His pursuit of inspiration, innovation and collaboration have seen him record in multiple countries with guest artists from an array of backgrounds. He has sold more than 1.5 million records worldwide, won Juno Awards, and is a three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz award for Guitarist of the Year. His latest album, “Beyond Borders,” continues his global fascination, and his 2017 tour dates will include selections from his new work.
