In the "Art of the Love Song" the Annie Moses Band's string-playing is world-class, flavored with close, retro-harmonies and a delightful dash of gypsy-jazz. But it is the lead vocals that take center stage. Annie Dupre's voice is captivating, delivering glorious melodic lines with heartfelt passion and skill. 

It's how a timeless, classic love song should be sung. The members of the Band plucked repertoire from the Great American Songbook of the ‘40s and ‘50s, then borrowed from soulful folk/rock songsmiths of the ‘60s and ‘70s such as Don McLean, Paul Williams, and John Lennon. “The Art of the Love Song”—scheduled for release through Warner Classics, February 26, 2016, with a tour following in the Fall of 2016—is a tribute to the beauty of true love as expressed through the most treasured love songs of the last century.
