SHAE Movement African Arts Dance Concert

Overview

SHAE Movement African Arts (SMAA) is glad to present its 3rd Annual Dance Concert featuring dances from West Africa. The show will feature pieces from the countries of Mali and Guinea, performed by the SMAA Dance Company and Community Dancers of Charlotte. Each piece will be presented in a creative and unique performance, sure to captivate the entire family. The liveliness of drums, the beauty of song, and the splendor of the costumes will keep your attention till the end of the show. The performance is composed of 4 dances including an all women dundun drum and dance piece, Sobonincun/Sorsorne.
